Filmmaker & Videographer (she/her)
Jane Doucette, or Janey is a Boston-based filmmaker and videographer. Janey started her video work as an editor, but now mainly works in the camera department on indie film sets around Massachusetts while also dabbling in some freelance videography. Janey and her friends have a production company called J.P. Flix where they recently released a film “Listen” and have another, “Frontman,” coming soon; both of which Janey was the Director of Photography for. Janey has always been a creative. Whether it was collaging or painting or knitting or filmmaking, Janey has had a strong drive to create art. Her love of film over the course of her adolescence certainly fostered this desire for visual storytelling. Check out Janey’s work here!

Jess is a queer, Filipina creative based in Boston, passionate about bringing cutting-edge music videos to independent artists. Through her production company, See Ya! Productions, she directs, produces, styles, and designs official music videos that remain accessible without ever compromising quality.
As an artist herself, Jess built SYP on the belief that every musician deserves the chance to expand their art into a visual landscape — because creativity should always come first.

Julia is a pediatric nurse with a lifelong passion for music. She’s been singing for as long as she can remember and believes that music is one of the world’s greatest unifiers — a way for artists from all backgrounds to come together and create something beautiful.
An alum of Pitch, Please!, a semi-professional treble a cappella group that competes in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), Julia also has choral experience from her high school’s Solo Choir, where she toured Europe performing both sacred and secular music.

Dancer(he/him)
Kevin “Khaos” Sor is a Massachusetts-based dancer. Kevin began dancing in high-school, he saw one move and he was hooked. Eventually, in college, Kevin formed a dance group called Akuratli Unique. In 2018, he decided to pursue dance as a career, learning from renowned teachers in different styles and being part of the diverse dance community here in Massachusetts. Kevin has tried his best to surround himself with whatever dance knowledge was around, today he has learnt all kinds of styles from Hip-Hop to Krump and even Dancehall. Now, when Kevin dances, he’s sessioning with friends, cyphering, learning choreography, battling, and all the while training. Currently, Kevin is dancing with Mill Advised, a dance crew based in Lowell and is constantly pushing himself to learn and grow as a person and as a dancer. Check Khaos out here!

Drummer/Music Educator/Performer (he/him)
Lou Petto is a professional drummer, music educator, and performer dedicated to making a difference that makes a difference. With over 20 years of experience teaching drums to students of all ages and skill levels, Lou takes a holistic, student-centered approach that blends rhythm, creativity, technique, and musicality. He has taught more than a hundred students — from young beginners to touring professionals — across genres like jazz, rock, funk, and world music, mentoring talents such as Wahkiba Julion, now touring with Action Bronson.
As a performer, Lou has shared stages and sessions with artists including Bernie Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic), David Byrne (Talking Heads), and Richard Bona (Sting, Joe Zawinul). His collaborations extend to musicians connected with Michael Jackson, YES, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Paul Simon, and more. Lou’s playing can be heard on streaming platforms across 15+ artist releases, and his international tours have taken him through Colombia, Brazil, Greece, and Paris.

Maddy Krempler is a vocalist from New York, currently studying at Northeastern University in Boston. She discovered her love for singing at a young age and has been performing ever since — from choirs and select ensembles to musical productions throughout her life.
For the past few years, Maddy has been a member of Pitch, Please!, a women-centered treble a cappella group at Northeastern, where she’s grown as a vocalist, explored innovative arrangements, and collaborated with fellow musicians who share her passion for music. She has also served on the group’s executive board as both business manager and treasurer, supporting the ensemble behind the scenes.
Outside of a cappella, Maddy loves discovering new music and continuing to grow as a singer in every way she can.

Mia is a Syracuse-based graphic and brand identity designer with a deep love for music. Singing has been part of her life for as long as she can remember — rooted in her faith and the joy she finds in worship. What began as something she did for fun has grown into one of her greatest passions.
An alum of Pitch, Please!, a semi-professional competitive a cappella group, Mia was honored with a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) nomination for Best Upper Voices Lead Vocal on the group’s cover of “Only Girl.” Today, she keeps music close by sharing covers on TikTok (@miadarryll) and singing whenever she can.

Neals is a data analyst by profession and a lifelong music lover at heart. She began training in Carnatic vocal performance at the age of five, studying for nearly a decade before discovering a new passion in a cappella.
Since then, Neals has performed with several treble a cappella groups and is a proud alum of Pitch, Please! at Northeastern University, where she had the opportunity to perform and compete on stages across the country. Today, she continues to sing for fun, explore music production, and help other groups workshop their performances.

Vocal Percussionist/Filmmaker (he/him)
Perry Edelman is a 22-year-old film major at TCNJ in Ewing, NJ, and a lifelong beatboxer whose love for rhythm has shaped his identity as a performer and collaborator. He spent three years competing in the ICHSAs as a member of Howell High School’s a cappella teams and now serves as the Vocal Percussionist for The Trentones, TCNJ’s premier competitive a cappella group. Perry was honored with the Outstanding Vocal Percussion Award at the 2025 Mid-Atlantic ICCA Quarterfinal.
Beyond music, Perry has acted in and helped produce more than a dozen student films, always exploring new ways to blend sound, rhythm, and storytelling. He’s also collaborated with Isha through one of their workshops — an experience that marked a meaningful full-circle moment in his artistic journey.

Preethi is a student at Rutgers University, currently on the pre-law track, with a lifelong passion for singing. Music has always been her favorite way to stay grounded and creative. Trained in classical Indian music for about ten years, she continues to explore Western styles such as classical and theatre.
Preethi loves collaborating with fellow artists — including Isha — to keep her creative spark alive and to make something meaningful through music.

Sammy is a bilingual Engineer and producer. Sammy spent years as an engineer at Phoenix Down Recordings in Boston, a studio that takes pride in a fast and fluent recording and mixing experience. Sammy was born in the South Shore of Massachusetts, with Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage, making him fluent in Spanish as well as English. Sammy grew up a hip hop head, producing and recording for his friends in his bedroom at 16, later gravitating towards RnB and Pop. Sammy has a bachelor's degree in Music Industry from Northeastern University, which expands his network of A&Rs, Managers, Songwriters and Session musicians, connecting his clients with people in the industry and connecting Northeastern Producers to Phoenix Down. Sammy has recorded and mixed countless Rock, Pop, and Hip Hop records for Artists all around the world, specializing in vocal production and groovy drum mixing. Check Sammy out here!

Tom is a bass player born and raised in Staten Island, NY, whose passion for groove and feel has defined his musical journey. He picked up the bass at 13 and hasn’t put it down since. Over the years, Tom has studied with Richie Castellano of Blue Öyster Cult and performed in both his high school and college jazz bands — experiences that deeply shaped his approach to rhythm and expression.
Today, Tom serves as the Music Director at Grace Church in Staten Island and anchors the low end for SILC, a funk-fusion band that lets him blend the diverse sounds and styles he’s gathered along the way. Whether it’s church, jazz, or funk, Tom is all about making music that connects and keeps people moving.

Multi-Instrumentalist/Songwriter (he/him)
Tobias Richardson is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose first love was the drums — but over time, he’s also taught himself bass, guitar, and keys. With a wide vocal range, strong stage presence, and an ability to learn music on the spot, Tobias has explored genres ranging from gospel and jazz to heavy metal and hip-hop.
Inspired by the saying “Music doesn’t spread, it just resonates,” Tobias strives to express himself as authentically as possible — through his music, his style, and the deep personal relationships he holds close to his heart. Through his art, he encourages everyone he meets to be weird, be wacky, and embrace who they truly are.
As the bass player and songwriter for Over the Counter, Tobi loves bringing it all together — blending a variety of cultures and influences while sharing the stage with his friends. Check Tobi out here!
